I just bought the quartzdate version of this one ! waiting for it to get here, but i was curious if you think the super version is that much better? I feel like i made a mistake not getting the super version
Thanks for stopping by. I never used the super version but from my understanding they are about the same camera. The only difference is that the super can close focus up to 50cm.

I’m in Bangkok at the moment and can’t seem to find any information as to whether camera gear is permitted ringside. I’d like to shoot with a 70-200mm F2.8 which would appear quite large in this context. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The cons you mentioned are not very cons, a modern point and shoot doesn't have manual controls, the "super"version of this camera has flash options and macro focus mode. The true cons about this camera is that the protection lens causes A LOT of flare but it can be unglued and removed.

Just got one shipped to door for $60, I have a XA showing up next week that I paid ~$200 for shipped to door. I'm excited to take them both out and blast a roll of film through both of them and see if they look different. With how fast these cameras are appreciating in value I'm excited to have gotten back into film before I got priced out of some of these better models...
Totally $60 is great. I purchased an XA a few years ago for about $100. Insane that it doubled in price.
